River level rises have been observed in the upper Belyando and upper Suttor Rivers as a result of rainfall during last weekend and early parts of this week.
No significant rainfall has been recorded in the 24 hours to 9am Friday. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 3.75 metres and steady. River levels at St Anns may reach around the minor flood level (4.00 m) Friday evening.

Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the remainder of Friday, with the possibility of locally heavy falls. Renewed rises are possible and the situation will continue to be monitored. Warnings will be issued as required.
The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 1.85 metres and falling.
This is a final warning, no further warnings will be issued for this event.

Moderate Flood Warning for the Connors and Isaac Rivers and Minor Flood Warning for the Dawson River

Isolated heavy rainfall particularly over eastern parts of the catchment has occurred over the last few days.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday, but are expected to ease over the next few days.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 5.19 metres and rising. The river level at Taroom is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) during Friday. The Dawson River at Theodore is currently at 8.82 metres and rising slowly. The Dawson River at Theodore is expected to remain above the minor flood level (8.00 m) during Friday. The river level may peak near 8.9 metres overnight Friday into Saturday. The Dawson River at Moura is currently at 6.10 metres and rising. The river level at Moura is expected to remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) during Friday. No observations are available at the Baralaba manual gauge but the river level is expected to be around the minor flood level (4.0 metres) and rising based on the nearby automatic gauge. The Dawson River at Baralaba is expected to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Friday and continue to rise over the next few days. The Isaac River at Yatton peaked at 12.20 metres around 01:00 pm Thursday 27 February and is currently at 11.31 metres and falling. The river level at Yatton will remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) during Friday. The river level is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (9.50 m) Saturday. The Mackenzie River at Tartrus is currently at 7.81 metres and steady. The Mackenzie River at Tartrus is expected to remain below the minor flood level (11.00 m) going into the weekend. The Fitzroy River at Rockhampton is expected to remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m) into next week.

The Balonne River at Warkon is currently at 8.01 metres (moderate flooding) and falling. The Balonne River at Warkon will fall below the moderate flood level (8.00 m) Saturday morning and continue to ease. The Balonne River at Surat is currently at 9.11 metres (major flooding) and falling. The Balonne River at Surat is expected to fall below the major flood level (9.00 m) during Saturday and is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (7.00 m) early next week. The Balonne River at Warroo is currently at 11.55 metres (moderate flooding) and falling. The Balonne River at Warroo is expected to remain below the major flood level (12.00 m) during Saturday and ease through the weekend. The Balonne River at St George is currently at 10.60 metres (major flooding) and falling. This river level is below the Andrew Nixon Bridge. The Balonne River at St George is likely to fall below the major flood level (10.00 m) during Saturday and continue to ease. The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is currently at 5.10 metres (major flooding) and steady. The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is likely to peak near 5.20 metres Saturday evening, which is the level of the Balonne Minor Bridge. The river level is expected to remain above the major flood level (4.80 m) during Sunday. River level observations are not available for the Bokhara River at Hebel, but river levels are likely to be around the minor flood level (1.0 m) and rising during Saturday. The Bokhara River at Hebel may reach the moderate flood level (1.50 m) over the weekend or early next week.

Minor Flood Warning for the Moonie River

No significant rainfall has been recorded in the catchment since 9 am Friday, with no significant rainfall forecast over the next few days.
At 9am Friday the Moonie River at Nindigully Bridge was 2.45 metres and falling. The Moonie River at Nindigully may fall to around the minor flood level (2.20 m) during Saturday, with small renewed rises possible later in the weekend. At 9am Friday the Moonie River at Thallon Bridge was at 4.09 metres (minor flood) and falling. The Moonie River at Thallon Bridge is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Saturday. The river level will continue to ease during the weekend.

The Wallam Creek at Bollon peaked at 0.91 metres around 11:20 pm Friday 28 February and is currently at 0.84 metres and falling. River levels are likely to fall below the moderate flood level (0.70 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.

A major flood peak is expected at Cunnamulla Bridge late Saturday afternoon. Downstream at Rocky, major flooding is expected during Sunday.

The Warrego River at Charleville is currently at 2.02 metres and falling. The Warrego River at Charleville is expected experience small renewed rises, but river levels will remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during the weekend. The Warrego River at Bakers Bend is currently at 6.56 metres and falling, with minor flooding. The river level at Bakers Bend is expected to remain above the minor flood level (5.00 m) during the weekend. The Warrego River at Wyandra is currently at 8.11 metres and steady, with moderate flooding. The Warrego River at Wyandra is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (8.00 m) Saturday afternoon. The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge is currently at 9.51 metres and rising, with major flooding. The river level at Cunnamulla Bridge is expected to peak around 9.60 metres (major flooding) during Saturday afternoon. This is the highest flood peak at Cunnamulla Bridge since February 2012. The 2012 flood peak was 9.98 metres. The Warrego River at Rocky is currently at 3.60 metres and rising, with minor flooding. The Warrego River at Rocky will exceed the moderate flood level (4.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. The river level is expected to exceed the major flood level (5.00 m) Sunday afternoon. Peak predictions will be provided when upstream peaks have been observed.

Major Flood Warning for the Paroo River (QLD)

The Paroo River at Eulo is currently at 3.37 metres (moderate flood) and rising. A flood peak around the major flood level (4.0 metres) is expected in the Paroo River at Eulo during this weekend. No observations are currently available at Hungerford manual gauge, however levels are expected to be below the minor flood level (1.00 metre). Renewed river level rises to the minor flood level (1.00 m) are possible on the Paroo River at Hungerford later in the weekend. Higher levels are expected during next week as floodwaters continue to arrive. More detailed predictions will be made once upstream peaks have been recorded.

Moderate Flood Warning for the Bulloo River

The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 4.59 metres and rising. The river will stay around the bridge level 4.6m during Friday with further small rises during the weekend. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Friday and through the weekend. At 11:50am on Friday, the Bulloo River at Thargomindah was 3.16 metres and rising. The river level at Thargomindah may reach the minor flood level (4.00 m) over the weekend and into next week, with further rises to moderate flood level during next week.

Minor flooding on the Cooper Creek at Windorah will continue through the weekend.

The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 1.68 metres (below minor) and steady. There are no observations for the Stonehenge manual gauge. However based on the automatic gauge river levels should be below minor and falling. The Thomson River at Jundah is currently at 2.35 metres (below minor) and steady. River height observations are not available for the manual station at Blackall. However, based on the automatic gauge minor flood levels (above 2.9 metres) are rising during Friday. The Barcoo River at Blackall is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) going into the weekend as upstream floodwaters continue to arrive. The Barcoo River at Isisford is currently at 5.87 metres (moderate flood) and rising. The Barcoo River at Isisford may reach the major flood level (6.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. River height observations are not available for the manual station at Retreat. However, based on the automatic gauge river levels are expected to be below the minor flood level (3.0 metres). The Barcoo River at Retreat is likely to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m) through the weekend. The Cooper Creek at Windorah (Long Crossing) is currently at 3.51 metres (minor flood) and steady. Minor flooding is expected to continue on the Cooper Creek at Windorah (Long Crossing) over the weekend.

The Georgina River at Marion Downs peaked at 5.65 metres around 09:00 am Monday 10 February and is currently at 2.80 metres (below minor) and falling fast. The river level at Marion Downs is expect to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m). Moderate flood levels on Eyre Creek at Bedourie was at 4.26 metres at 09:00 am Thursday and rising slowly. Eyre Creek at Bedourie is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) at least until next week. The river level may exceed the level of the bridge at Bedourie (4.4 m) over the next few days. The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is currently at 3.12 metres and rising. The creek level on Eyre Creek at Glengyle will continue to rise and may reach the bridge level (3.30 m) over the weekend. The river level at may reach the major flood level (4.00 m)
