Byron Coast: Point Danger to Wooli

A high pressure system over the western Tasman Sea will be the dominant synoptic feature in the region during the next few days. This high will direct generally north to northeasterly winds over New South Wales waters. A weak trough will bring a southerly change to the south coast today, reaching the Hunter coast Sunday morning. Winds over these parts will turn north to northeasterly again on Monday as the trough dissipates.
