Synoptic Situation
A high over the Tasman Sea will move east, slowly weakening the ridge on the southern coast. A weak trough should move north onto the southeast coast from New South Wales on Friday.

Fraser Island Offshore Waters, Sandy Cape to Double Island Point:
Thursday until midnight: Wind: N/NE 10/15 knots. Sea: 1.2 metres.
Friday: Wind: NW/NE 10/15 knots. Sea: 1.2 metres.
Saturday: Wind: N/NE 10/15 knots, reaching 15/20 knots during the afternoon in offshore waters.
Sunday: Wind: NW/NE 10/15 knots.
