Synoptic Situation
A large high situated near Tasmania will move slowly eastwards into the Tasman Sea over the next few days, maintaining a strong ridge along the Queensland east coast.
Warnings
A wind warning is current for waters between St Lawrence and Point Danger, including Hervey Bay and Moreton Bay.
Fraser Island Offshore Waters, Sandy Cape to Double Island Point:
A wind warning is current. Saturday until midnight: Wind: SE 25/35 knots. Sea: 3 to 3.5 metres. Swell: SE 2.5 to 3.5 metres. Scattered showers.
Sunday: Wind: SE 25/30 knots. Sea: 3 metres. Swell: SE 2.5 to 3.5 metres. Scattered showers.
Monday: Wind: SE 20/25 knots.
