Weather Situation
A general W to NW wind flow will persist over eastern Gulf waters during the outlook period. A trough will most likely approach far southern Gulf waters from the south early Tuesday.
Northeast Gulf, North of Cape Keer-Weer:
Strong Wind Warning has been cancelled.
Saturday until midnight: Winds: W to NW 20 to 25 knots. Seas: to 2.2 metres. Swell: W to NW 1.5 to 2 metres. Isolated squally showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday: Winds: W to NW 20 to 25 knots. Decreasing to 15 to 20 knots south of Weipa in the evening. Seas: 2.2 metres, decreasing to 1.7 metres south of Weipa in the evening. Swell: W to NW 1.5 metres. Isolated squally showers and thunderstorms.
Monday: Winds: NW 20 to 25 knots, decreasing to 15 to 20 knots south of Weipa during the afternoon.
Tuesday: Winds: W to NW 15 to 20 knots, decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon.
