Synoptic Situation
A large near to the west of Tasmania will move very slowly eastwards into the Tasman Sea over the next few days. A trough over southern Gulf waters will weaken by Saturday.
Warnings
Nil.
Northeast Gulf, North of Cape Keer-Weer:
Friday until midnight: Wind: SE/NE 10/15 knots, tending variable 5/10 knots north of Cullen Point. Sea: 1.2 metres. Showers and isolated thunderstorms, tending to rain at times in the evening.
Saturday: Wind: E/SE 10/15 knots, reaching 15/20 knots over southern waters during the morning and evening. Sea: 1.2 metres to 1.7 metres. Isolated showers and thunderstorms, scattered in the north.
Sunday: Wind: E/SE 15/20 knots, easing to 10/15 knots over far northern waters.
