Synoptic Situation at 3:00 pm EST Thursday
A large, slow moving high in the Great Australian Bight will extend strong SE'ly winds into the forecast area during tonight, increasing further to gale force during Friday.

Warnings
A gale warning will be issued for waters south of 20S for Friday.

Forecast
Thursday until midnight: Wind: SE 20/25 knots, increasing to 25/30 knots
during the evening. Sea: 2.5 to 3 metres in the Capricorn Channel. Swell: SE
1.5 metres in the Capricorn Channel. Scattered squally showers.
Friday: SE winds 25/35 knots. Sea: 3 metres in the Capricorn Channel.
Swell: SE 2 metres in the Capricorn Channel. Scattered squally showers.
Saturday: Wind: SE winds 30/35 knots.
Sunday: Wind: SE 25/33 knots.
