Major expansion for Game & Leisure Boats

Graham McCloy from Game & Leisure Boats at Runaway Bay is the new Gold Coast dealer for Haines Signature boats and Suzuki outboards.Well known Gold Coast based boat importer and broker Game & Leisure boats has just undergone a major expansion by moving to larger premises, employing more staff and adding several new boat brands to its lineup.

Currently the Australian importer of the premium US sportfishing brands Cabo and Grady White, Game & Leisure Boats have now added to its range US-built sportsboats from Rinker, the locally made Seatime 28 sportfishing boat, and the full range of family fishing boats from iconic Aussie manufacturer Haines Signature. Add to this, sales and service of Suzuki outboards and the Game & Leisure boats team can now provide their customers with a boat and powerplant for all occasions.

With Grady White and Suzuki under one roof this venture also means you can finally have a Suzuki powered Grady White which in the past have all been pre-rigged for Yamaha.

The Game & Leisure Boats office will remain at Runaway Bay Marina on Bayview Street Runaway Bay but be moved from the small facility at the southern end of the marina to a massive 180sqm office and 700sqm display area at the northern end of the marina. On water displays will move from D-arm to A-arm and with a boat ramp adjacent to the office as well, seatrials are not a problem.

Director of Game & Leisure Boats Graham McCloy said, “We feel the timing is right for expansion. The economy is picking up again and we plan to offer a level of sales and service that has been lacking on the Gold Coast in recent times. We are very excited to be adding quality Australian made boat brands and the ever popular Suzuki outboards to our lineup.”

Greg Haines, director of The Haines Group, manufacturer of Haines Signature boats and importer of Suzuki outboards had this to say about Game & Leisure Boat’s expansion; “We are pleased to be associated with Game & Leisure Boats. They are a very professional and well founded dealership with many years experience in the marine industry. Graham is a particularly experienced fisherman and we feel the range of Signature boats and Suzuki outboards will fit well with the new location and facilities.”

Game & Leisure Boats new premises will be open 6 days a week. Visit them in person at the northern end of Runaway Bay Marina, 247 Bayview St, Runaway Bay. Visit them online at www.gandlb.com.au or for more information call (07) 55775811.
